Responsibilities include:
Enter new title applications and order necessary searches as required for title commitment.
Provide assistance to settlement officers with processing residential and commercial real estate files for closing.
Obtain documents to satisfy lien holders, as well as documents other documents as required to clear title for closing.
Correspond with all parties of the transaction and respond to all requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Review closing documents for accuracy and make or facilitate changes, if necessary Record deeds and mortgages and other various post-closing duties as needed.
Assist the settlement officer as needed Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have some experience and knowledge in title insurance, real estate, or mortgage lending with strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
High school diploma or equivalent 1
year of title insurance, real estate or mortgage experience is a plus Effective communication and computer skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel with the aptitude to learn new software quickly.
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, organized with customer service focus.
Ability to work efficiently, be detail-oriented, and handle deadline pressures in a fast-paced environment.
Effective time management skills.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
